Trans Ova Genetics offers a summer internship program that is designed to give students who have a passion for the animal science and reproduction industry a hands-on and real-world experience in the area of reproductive technologiesKey
Responsibilities:
Assist professional service team with chute side proceduresMaintain accurate records of procedures and data entryProvide excellent client service in-clinic and on-farmLow stress handling of recipient and donor animals through working facilitiesAssist with preparation and packing for on-farm road tripsPrepare chute rooms for daily work load as outlined by weekly work scheduleSuccessfully complete a project and presentation on a topic related to repro or TOGMaintain a professional image reflective of Trans Ova's industry positionFollow Trans Ova's policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned by supervisorEducation Requirements:
Students must have completed their sophomore year of undergraduate studies in Animal Science/Biotechnology or a related degreeVeterinary Medicine students are also encouraged to applyIt is preferred that students have already completed a course in reproductionPhysical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Job requires ability to work in adverse/outdoor conditions, good physical mobility and above average strength/conditioningAnimals, especially if handled improperly, can cause injuryAbility to lift 50 lbsand be on feet walking, or standing for long periods of timeOther skills/
Experience:
Students must have the ability to travelMust have valid driver's licenseMust be able to operate a company vehicleMust be organized and have effective communication skillsExcellent cattle handling skills and patience are required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
