Job Details, Dry Supply Attendant Dry Supply Attendant Dry Supply Attendant locationsRichland, WA (Richland Plant) time typeFull time posted onPosted 14 Days Ago job requisition idReq-221079 Job Description Summary The dry supply attendant is responsible for supplying all of the packaging lines with dry supplies as well as assist in the operation of the automatic palletizerThe dry supply attendant will also be responsible for various sanitation functions within the packaging areaThey will perform sanitation duties during run days and on weekend cleanups.
Job Description o Participate in the safety engagement process.
o Confers with the supervisor and/or lead to determine the cut schedule, dry supply requirements and any special instructions for the shift as it pertains to all packaging lines.
o Transports all packaging materials into the packaging area from dry supply for use.
o Fills palletizer with pallets, slip sheets , etc.
o Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
o Aids in the recase /rework of product as directed by supervision.
o Recycle bags and plastics in compactor.
o Follow all plant safety policies and proceduresBe actively involved in safety, participate in safety programs, engaged in safety activities, perform risk assessments and demonstrate ownership as well as leadership in personal safety and the safety of other team members.
o Report on near misses, incidents, and any safety concerns.
o Other duties as assigned by the team leader or supervisor Job Qualifications o Must be forklift qualifiedIf not qualified, training will be provided.
o Able to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
o Read, understand, and obey all plant rules a nd practice safety as outlined in the employee handbook.
o Be conscientious and consistent in his/her work.
o Practice proper body mechanics and safe lifting techniques.
o Be knowledgeable of the potential hazards and safety procedures associated with the task being performed.
o Actively practice and abide by all Company work, safety, and personal hygiene rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook.
