JOB SUMMARY
Apply principles, practices, and procedures of a particular engineering discipline in the completion of moderately complex technical assignments. Using judgment, independently evaluate, select, adapt and modify standard techniques, procedures and criteria to plan and conduct work.
PRINCIPAL
Responsibilities:
oCandidate must have demonstrated an ability in working with project, design, and test managers, operations personnel, QA, and vendors, and be experienced in providing input and oversight to engineers, designers, and drafters.
oPrepare, check, and approve design criteria, process flow diagrams (PFD''s), process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID''s), mass, pump flow and sizing calculations, critical velocity calcs in both newtonion and non-newtonian fluids.
oInterpret, understand, and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Ventilation Flow Diagrams (VFD''s), Mechanical Flow Diagrams (MFD''s), Mechanical Handling Diagrams (MHD''s), equipment layout drawings, and Design Proposal Drawings (DPD''s).
oDocument, maintain, and troubleshoot unit operations and flowsheets of operating components, product/test lines, and systems.
oAssess waste disposition options, environmental discharge criteria, and final wasteform categories (NRC, DOE, and RCRA/Ecology) within Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards. State of Washington knowledge is beneficial.
oDevelop specifications, test plans, and test procedures in support of operations / test programs.
oWork cooperatively within multi-discipline design and operations teams.
REQUIRED AND DESIRED SKILLS
oEssential computer software: Microsoft Office Suite of products. Preferred software: MathCAD.
oAdvanced knowledge of discipline''s standard theories, concepts, principles, and techniques.
oExperience supporting and working within structured test programs at multiple scales (bench-, pilot-, and full-scale) preferred.
oExperience supporting the United States Department of Energy and its prime contractors preferred.
oCapable of working in a fast-paced environment with fluid requirements, frequent changes and multiple deadlines.
oNuclear experience is beneficial, but not essential.
oNuclear plant commissioning and operations experience is beneficial.
oKnowledge of environmental permits/criteria is beneficial.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
