As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Provides management and oversight of the Hanford Departmental interface with the DOE Inspector General (OIG) and the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO). Serves as the liaison between the IG, GAO and DOE Hanford staff and management on all audits and interfaces. Serves as the subject matter expert, provides expertise and guidance to key officials and peers in the coordination of audit activities Provides status of corrective actions through the DOE Action Tracking System for Audits to the OIG, GAO and DOE SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS 12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Formulating and identifying the operational and analytical techniques for accomplishment of program objectives to produce reliable findings and providing advice and guidance on alternatives and resolutions to problems. Developing, managing, and maintaining assigned programming data/information systems. Analyzing management information requirements and developing program or administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology. Developing plans analysis of both quantitative and qualitative facts and information gathered from audits Providing written responses both formally and informally and maintaining records of information. Knowledge of program or organizational relationships with programs and key functions of the program, with its customers and suppliers, and with other agencies sufficient to assure analytical results and recommendations are in alignment with all stakeholders' mission success criteria Knowledge of communication skills and techniques and in written and verbal communication Skill in analyzing, providing comprehensive advice, and developing appropriate recommendations on issues or problems which have a significant degree of complexity due to breadth of the assignment's boundaries and/or the evolving nature of those boundaries. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include:
volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
